Ultralight Bib Short combines featherweight breathability and FlyFree access for warm-weather epics
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"When the forecast says high heat and high mileage, these are my go-to bibs. They’re insanely breathable, supportive where it counts, and the FlyFree feature makes mid-ride stops so much easier. Light, fast, and made for all-day comfort—these check every box."
When temps rise and the miles stack up, we reach for the Ultralight Bib Short to keep cool, comfortable, and focused on the ride ahead. Built with an ultralight woven fabric that delivers next-level breathability and muscle-hugging compression, these bibs are designed for long, hot days in the saddle—whether we're on the road, gravel, or deep into an all-day adventure.
The updated fit is dialed for long-distance comfort, with wide leg grippers that hold without squeezing and a women’s-specific endurance chamois that provides targeted support exactly where we need it. And when nature calls mid-ride, the FlyFree design lets us take quick breaks—no need to remove layers or deal with snaps or zippers. With minimal seams to reduce friction and a barely-there feel, these bibs are made for the miles when performance and comfort matter most.

Messed up a good thing
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Legs are way too long - hitting back of knee. And I'm 5'6" with long legs (& formerly devoted to the last version of these Velocio bibs)! Messy external chamois stitching and crotch looks bumpy. Straps are also too narrow and uncomfortable - they literally sit on the nipples. (I now realize this can be seen on model on the Velocio site. Also she must be 5'10" or taller to have bibs hit so high on her leg.) Really disappointed. I've heard the same complaints about the new luxe bibs also so i guess after all these years (and thousands of dollars spent on Velocio bibs), I need to find a new brand.(Returned)
