ProDry Bib keeps you dry and comfortable in extreme fishing conditions

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The ProDry Bib is a game-changer for long days on the water. Its GORE-TEX® Pro fabric keeps me completely dry through rain and spray, and the reinforced panels stand up to tough wear and tear. The articulated fit and stretch back panel make it easy to move, even during intense casts."

When harsh weather strikes on the open water, the Simms ProDry Bib is our ultimate defense. Made with GORE-TEX® Pro durable waterproof fabric, this bib offers unmatched weather protection to keep us dry through storms, waves, and long days on deck. Reinforced panels on the knees and seat resist abrasions and ensure durability in high-wear areas, while articulated legs and a stretch back panel keep us moving freely and comfortably.

Thoughtful features, like thigh-high side zippers, adjustable suspenders, and cargo handwarmer pockets, add convenience and versatility. Whether braving the elements on a fishing boat or battling through the wettest conditions, the ProDry Bib ensures that we stay focused on the adventure ahead, not the weather.

Simms Pro-dry bibs

Kinda in the middle with this purchase… the bibs’ new shoulder padded design seems great, but eventually you’ll find they get wrapped and stuck on the adjuster cinch pieces on each side, and eventually bunch up under them, causing major discomfort. Then we move down to the crotch area and unlike the older pro-dry bib designs that had DUAL zippers (allowing convenient potty breaks), we find that these new design bibs only have a SINGLE one-way zipper function that only open and close from the bottom to top. Leaving you NO choice but to fully unzip the bib if need to go to the bathroom…. . and in a boat style of fishery that we’re using these for, and in a marine zone which always requires layered clothing under and over the bibs to stay warm, this zipper function becomes VERY hassle oriented and is not user friendly at all. A big fail kinda here. On the flip, these are by far the best color options Simms has chosen to put out yet- the brown is extremely pleasant on the eyes and blends perfectly in with the PNW way of life and the fishing minded angler. If the knees were padded a bit more, and the zipper functions improved like old, and the new padded shoulder straps modified, these would be a KNOCK outta the park for Simms. Some improvements are needed imo. But only fish 250 to 300 days a year…. Sooooo, hmmmm. What do I know lol (I’m a bit particular Proly)

ProDry Fishing Bibs are the Best!

I feel as a whole Simms equipment runs a little large - I am 5’10, 170lbs and the medium fits perfect. Craftsmanship is on point!

DON'T LET THE COST SCARE YOU - YOU DESERVE THIS

PROS: Out here in Oregon, when it’s dumping rain and the bite is on, this jacket makes me feel like Aquaman. Whether I’m casting in a downpour or ripping across the lake on cold, foggy mornings, it keeps me warm, dry, and focused on the fish — not the weather. It’s legit become my go-to for both stormy days and high-speed boat runs. CONS: The lighter colorway shows grease, bait fuel, and oil stains pretty easily — and about half the time, they don’t wash out. That said, I’m not babying my gear. I use it hard, and over time, the stains and scuffs have given it a kind of patina, like a well-worn Carhartt jacket. It’s got character now. Sure, black would’ve hidden more, but this iconic color — the same one you see on guys like Seth Feider and Brandon Palaniuk — was too good to pass up. In summary, buy this and stop being scared of the price. You get what you pay for and this kit opens up an entire new season/weather pattern. Keeps me fishing comfortably and that's priceless. Easily my favorite piece of fishing gear I own.

Still the best

My second set of Pro Dry bibs over the last 5 years or so. Original set is still operational. New set has comfortable suspenders. Good pockets. Easy to move around with them on. My original set were large. While they still fit well the new set had to go X Large. In my area some tech long John bottoms and fleece pants under the bibs and I’m comfortable without feeling all bound up. Just hard to do better.

ProDrys BACK!

Ive been living in the ProDry Kit since the Gen 1 days! This jacket and bib combo is essential for any serious angler, no matter where you call home or travel to. The current models cut has been restored to previous generations fit which is welcome when layering is called for.
