As if the Simms G4 waders weren't famous enough, the G4Z Stockingfoot Wader adds a YKK waterproof front zipper, so we don't have to get half-undressed just to take a pee in between fish. Made in Bozeman, Montana, the G4Z features premium GORE-TEX waterproofing—with 3-layer GTX up top for more mobility and breathability and 4-layer GTX down low for better durability and abrasion resistance. In addition to the iconic front zipper, these waders also include micro-fleece lined handwarmer pockets, zippered chest pockets, and abrasion-resistant gravel guards for Simms' most durable, fully featured waders.

Great wader system. Love the zipper, pockets, and straps. Booties are a bit smaller than I would prefer for winter fishing in Colorado.

Disappointed
These waders are half the thickness of the old G4’s, the shoulder strap system is less than desirable and there is no belt loop in the back

Fantastic as usual I guide over 200 days a year and I’ve tried all of the companies and these are hands down the most durable waders … if your looking for the best waders that will last longer then the rest look no further

As close to perfect as it gets
Easily the most comfortable wader that I have ever worn. Nearly perfect… the only thing that I would change is that I would make the waterproof pocket a bit larger so that it easily fits the larger iPhone max with a case. In my case, I have an otter box. I assume most people have their phones in some sort of case.

Love these waders!

PFAS
Excellent product BUT extremely disappointed to see Simms still using PFAS (forever chemicals) materials. For a group so keen on preserving their lakes, rivers and oceans, I would have thought this company would pay more attention to potent environmental and human toxins during manufacturing processes. DO BETTER SIMMS.
