Great boots
I’ve used these boots multiple times now and they are great. The power lock cleat system make it easy to go from metal cleats to boat friendly in a matter of minutes. The aluminum cleats work very well on big slick rocks.

Excellent Product - Great Performance in the field
The durability, performance and versatility of the G4 Pro is impressive. It is evident that feedback from end-users was considered in both the design of the core boot and also the accessory items. Being able to easily shift from different types of traction is a huge performance upgrade.

G4 Pro wading boots
Love the boots ! great fit, very comfortable, the power locks for the laces truly works ! the cleats exchange is simple ,the tool with it is great but you need to have some muscle and strong grip ,no problem for full time guides . Thats why the name is PRO !

Comfortable Boot
This is the second pair that I own. They are very comfortable to wear and walk around in. My feet arent sore or tired after a full day on the water.

G4 Powerlock Boots
I love these boots. My home water is a large spring branch with some very slippery areas. With these powerlock cleats my footing is totally secure. They aren’t cheap, but if you fish in slippery environments they are worth every penny.

A Great Guide Boot!
I wade guide in the high Rockies in Colorado. Wading freestone rivers is always a challenge…The Simms Guide boot has been my go to for a long time. I am completely impressed by the Powerlock boot. The comfort is excellent and it is easy to get into. The Powerlock cleats make moving around in the river easier than ever. I am a better fly fisher when I can get to the tough spots! Our boots are the only part of our gear to touch the river bottom. It makes sense to use a boot that is built for tough going. I am on my feet for long hours on sketchy river beds and my choice of footwear is critical…. I am a huge fan of this boot, it is always there to help me navigate the high country water…

A Great wading boot!
I fish the rivers of the Rocky Mountains…I am a qualified guide. I fish 75+ days a year. I always wade. My choice of wading has always been a Simms guide boot, because there is no room for compromise. The G4 with Powerlock cleats is a superstar. Everything about this boot is state of the art! The G4 gives you the confidence to focus on the fishing. It provides a sole that allows you to wade slick freestone rivers and high country streams. The ankle support is noteworthy and appropriate. All while providing supreme comfort. I’m pleased with this boot because it so well thought out and designed. It gives you a boot that allows you to get to that spot where you can deliver a Caddis to the rising rainbow…After all, in the water your choice of your boots matters a lot!
