Why We Like The Flyweight Access Wet Wading Shoe

River beds can be slippery suckers that can put us in pain—or in danger—if we lose our footing. That's why we like the new Simms Flyweight Access Wet Wading Shoe. Much safer than wading in our old running shoes, each pair features Vibram outsoles with sticky grip for slick river bottoms to keep us on our feet and on the fish. The shoes' high-top construction and built-in ankle gaskets protect our ankles and seal out sand, sticks, and gravel while the flyweight construction saps less energy on long hikes in and out of our favorite waters. That lets us wade for smallies all summer or target trout on cobbly freestone streams without worrying about our footing.

Best boots yet

They thought of everything! Not one rock in my shoe the entire trip. These boots are a must have

The perfect wet wading boots

Nearly 2 seasons and they're still the boots that I wear in and out of my boat every day. They hold up great to daily abuse and are VERY comfortable. The only place that I get gravel and sand accumulated, is in the space between the mesh and the laces. They don't get into the foot compartment and it's super easy to remove once the boots are dry. It's a non issue for me. The soles have surprisingly held up well and will definitely purchase again once they are toast.

Great Product

These boots are great for "warm" water wading. They are a tighter fit than traditional Simms boots. If you plan to use a neoprene sock with these, you may wish to consider up-sizing by 2 sizes. These boots performed well and dried well.

Fills up with sand and shell

Comfortable wading boot, but really bad design. Wading the TX coast, the boots fill up with sand and shell via the flap around the laces. I have to take the boots off a couple times a day to empty the sand and shell out. After my trip, when I get home I have to flush a BUNCH of sand and shell out of the boots with the water hose.

The name fits the boot

With the Sims, waiting sock, the boot fits well. I’ve only worn them one time so far, so it’s still too early to tell, but after walking over, Christmas Island, salt flats on broken coral, sand and small rocks, the boot is holding up nicely.

Ms Flyweight Access Wet Wading Shoe

Bought this pair of boots this year. Used by approximately 20 fishermen. Size 10 fits well with a neoprene toe on a 27.5cm foot. I liked the sole, it holds well on moderately slippery stones. light and comfortable. Sent quickly. The package is well packed

Great option for wet wading and in a driftboat

These shoes are a great option for summer or wet wading. Also use them in a drift boat/ raft when I know Ill be getting in and out frequently in rocky or tough stream beds. Comfortable and easy to get on and off.

Great wet wading boot

I fished these boots all summer with no issue. They keep dirt/sand/pebbles out of your feet with the upper draw string.

Great boot

Easy on and off, great grip regardless if I am wading or in the boat. For a summer wet wading boot you can not beat these!
