Here's what customers have to say
The wading boots are generally well-received, with many customers praising their lightweight, comfortable, and grippy design. They provide excellent traction on wet, slippery surfaces, though some found them slippery on certain surfaces like moss and algae. While comfortable for all-day wear, there are reports of the soles wearing down quickly and the fabric tearing after moderate use. Careful consideration of the intended use and environment is recommended when purchasing these boots.

Great boot
Love these boots, very light and comfortable. Only downside is they are more slick on the rocks than felt soles(which are not allowed in the some rivers).

Happy Pilot
I wear these with the G3 Guide Wading Pant for daily float plane operations. Excellent balance of lightweight, comfort, and durability.

Good Boots, No Issues!
Great boots for summer or winter. Wish the laces were longer, but that it is easier to replace. I added 1/2 size to my regular shoe size to account for the waders, no issues.

Great if you have gout
I love these boots! I have 2 pairs. One for my waders and a smaller size for my daily use. I wear them all the time. ( I recently got a gout attack and they are a lifesaver they have a lot of room up front that I can actually walk around in them. I know the gout stuff is a bit random but hope this can help someone. They are awesome boots highly recommend them

Good boot but…
Bought these a year or so ago. They have worked well - good support but lightweight. However, recently the material has faded and I am unsure of their durability. I contacted Simms and they assured me it was not an issue. Ive never had that type of fading and wear with other boots. Time will tell

Disappointed with these boots
This is what my boots like like after their first trip (a mild morning on one of our local trout streams outside Cape Town).

Fit/performed well out of box but poor durability
I have fished these boots for the last 7 months. I typically fish 1-3 days a week on mountain freestone streams in east Tennessee and western North Carolina. I use these boots for fishing roadside streams or on short (3-5 miles round trip) hikes into backcountry streams. When heading deeper into the backcountry, I packed the boots, as I have read reviews that long hikes quickly wear the tread down. Fit, comfort, and weight were initially great out of the box. Traction was pretty good, too; better than normal rubber but not quite as good as felt. After about 3 months the traction was shot which made wading tedious and slower-going than I prefer. The fabric around the sides of the boot and toebox also began to fray, and at this point there are basically holes in the sides of the boot. They are falling apart. Unfortunately, I cant recommend these boots to anyone. At this price, they shouldnt be practically non-functional and falling apart after a season of fishing.

Avoid , expensive and not up to the job!
Absolute rubbish, fell apart in six months. Had them repaired by their repairer and they have fallen to pieces again. Cmon Simms I thought you were better than this!
