Fast, versatile gravel bike with race-ready Carbon CC frame and SRAM Apex Eagle drivetrain
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“The Stigmata Apex feels like the ultimate do-it-all gravel bike—light, stiff, and quick on the road, but with the gearing and clearance to turn rugged backroads and singletrack into an adventure playground.”
We’ve always admired bikes that don’t fit neatly into a single category, and the Santa Cruz Stigmata CC Apex is the perfect example. With its premium Carbon CC frame and SRAM Apex Eagle drivetrain, the Stigmata bridges the gap between race-focused gravel speed and dirt-seeking exploration. It’s a bike built to line up at start lines, disappear down backroads, or take the scenic way home.
With clearance for 700c x 45mm tires (and up to 50mm in a 1x setup), we can run fast-rolling rubber for racing or beefier treads for mixed terrain. The DT Swiss 370 hubs and WTB rims keep the ride responsive and reliable, while the Maxxis Rambler tires give us the bite we need when gravel turns loose. And with SRAM Apex Eagle’s 12-speed, 10–50t gearing, we’ve got a huge range that makes climbing fire roads just as comfortable as hammering tarmac stretches.
This is the drop-bar bike we reach for when we’re not sure where the ride will take us—but we know it’s going to be fast, capable, and endlessly fun.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
