The Salsa Cowchipper Carbon Drop Handlebar gives us confident control and fatigue-fighting comfort on multi-surface rides and bikepacking epics. While it resembles a traditional road bar at first glance, its progressive 24° flare in the drops significantly increases stability and handling confidence over loose or rugged terrain. Its unidirectional carbon construction reduces weight while improving compliance, helping to dull harsh vibrations when we’re hours—or days—into a long ride.
The 42cm version is ideal for riders who prefer a narrower width for improved aerodynamics or smaller frames, while still benefiting from the wide and stable feel in the drops thanks to the flare.
