Great boot - eventually

I've started skiing again after a 20+ year break. My much loved, but dated, Solomon SX82s needed replacing. I tried hiring several times - with mixed results until.... I hired a pair of these. Bit of a struggle to get on, but Great comfort all day and performance seems to suit my ability. So, on return to UK I bought myself a pair, and had them fitted by the shop. Put them in the wardrobe until next winter. With covid 3 years passed. Then.. first day on snow they were unbelievably bad. Skiing was OK. The moment I stopped was agony. Spent the following morning getting them refitted and custom footbeds made. Now couldn’t be better.
