Vigor Midweight Sensor Gloves offer touchscreen-ready warmth for active cold-weather use

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

“I wear these gloves almost every day through fall and spring—they’re just the right weight. The stretch fleece keeps my hands warm without overheating, and I can still check trail maps or texts without taking them off.”

From brisk morning runs to shoulder-season trail missions, the Vigor Midweight Sensor Gloves offer dependable warmth and dexterity in cool conditions. Outdoor Research designed these bestsellers with bluesign®-approved stretch fleece and a cozy grid interior, balancing breathable comfort with moisture-wicking performance. We wear them on their own for high-output activities or layered under heavier shells when the temperature dips lower.

Touchscreen-compatible fingertips and a silicone print palm give us the grip and convenience we need without slowing us down. With stretchy cuffs and quick-drying fabric, these gloves pack easily and adapt to just about any cold-weather pursuit. They’re a go-to essential for fast-paced mountain days.

Kept my hands warm while project managing a construction site. I just wish I would have got the size right.

Sizing

My hands fit great in these gloves and kept me warm in the wind-chilled 6 degree weather. My only problem was the thumb was a lot longer than normal. Every other finger fit fine but my the thumb on the glove was very long.

Best Breathable Glove

I bought these for cold weather military operations. My hands normally sweat but with these gloves my hands could breathe while maintaining warmth. I wear these gloves down to 15 degrees. Anything colder, I pair these with the Fairbanks glove.

It may just be that I got the wrong size as the sizing guide and product size naming did not seem to match for me. It also might be my screen protector as well but I can’t use my phone with them on. They are warm but the fact that you have to take them off to use electronics makes that near useless for me.

Great for aerobic activities

These are my go-to running gloves for most of the Seattle winter. They keep my hands warm on drizzly cold evening and morning runs.

Get a pair!

These are great gloves if you're on the move or it's not too cold. Very comfortable, wicking and sized appropriately. I consider these a must have.

poor design, poor function

I've used a number of OR gloves in the past. These are another example of OR quality and design going downhill over the last handful of years. The thumbs are ridiculously long. The touchscreen compatible feature does not work at all. Sorely disappointed.

Uncomfortable seam design

The Vigor sensor gloves have been a staple liner glove for me. Unfortunately the glove has been "updated", with seams added near the bottom of the fingers. This makes them very uncomfortable, especially when gripping something like a ski pole. Guess I'll have to look around for another glove once my old Vigor liners wear out.

Not good, steer clear

I purchased these gloves and they began to fall apart on literally the first outing. Also, they don't work as screen touch gloves. So not only were they falling apart, I also had to take them off to use my phone.

Poor quality

I only recently purchased these gloves and have used them for approaches and ski touring. Less than 10 days of use total and they are already tearing at the seams. Buy liner gloves from a different brand because these suffer from very poor workmanship.
