327 Shoe reimagines retro running design for adventurous little feet

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"My kid was immediately obsessed with the oversized ‘N’ and bold look of these. They’re sturdy, comfy, and actually hold up through playground chaos. A great combo of vintage flair and kid-ready durability."

Inspired by the golden age of running, the New Balance 327 Shoe for Little Kids brings bold '70s design into the now with a playful, scaled-down silhouette made for growing feet. Featuring details pulled from NB classics like the 320, 355, and Supercomp, this sneaker combines suede overlays, exaggerated branding, and a flared midsole to create a look that’s both retro and refreshingly new.

The lugged outsole offers traction for playground climbs and trail-style grip, while the leather upper and secure lace closure provide structure and durability for everyday adventures. Finished with a retro nylon tongue and wraparound rubber heel, this shoe offers style and comfort for little ones who never slow down

Here's what customers have to say

The reviews for the toddler shoes are mixed. Some customers find them comfortable and stylish, while many are disappointed with the poor quality and functionality of the closure, which causes the shoes to come open easily. The shoes are described as lightweight and flexible, but the design is considered inferior to the regular model, with issues like the tongue twisting. Overall, the shoes have a great style but quality and design problems, particularly with the closure, that detract from the customer experience.

Love them

Love these shoes and that New Balance offers the 327 in kids sizes too. Us grownups with kids feet need cool shoes too.

Toddler 327 has cheap poorly designed velcro. BAD!

Why in the world did they make the toddler version have this cheap poorly designed velcro?? The shoe doesnt stay closed bc this velcro layout and quality is the worst. So the shoe comes open and flies off my daughters foot when she runs causing her to fall and scrape her knees. These are the worst design in the world. Why did you mess with a perfect thing?? The normal 327s are the best so I don't understand why you ruined the toddler sizes. so why did you do this to the toddler version???? Whoever designed this toddler velcro version of 327 has no idea about functionality or quality. They ruined a great thing. The only thing I can think to do to try and make these wearable is possibly put rubber bands around her feet so at least there's some chance the shoe will not fly off but that would look ridiculous and should not be necessary for a premium priced kids shoe especially under New Balance Brand.

Wide and grippy

These shoes are great for our 2.5 yo son! He had a lot more confidence in climbing the playground and riding his balance bike since having these extra grippy shoes. The width it perfect for his wide feet and they don't squeeze his toes at all.

Cute

Super cute and comfy, I ordered 1.5 for my daughter who is growing out of a 13. She has room to grow but not overly too big either.
