Why We Like The MSR Revo Explore Snowshoe
When the trails turn from brown to white, we're strapping into the MSR Revo Explore Snowshoe. The steel teeth give us good grip on packed snow and ice while the Ergo Televators reduce fatigue and take some pressure of our Achilles on steep inclines. We can also add flotation tails (sold separately) when we're hiking deeper snow or carrying extra weight, making the Revo Explore a versatile option for our winter hikes.

MSR snow shoes with the new binding system are very comfortable and I had good control over the shoe. I've had a number of MSR shoes in the past, and I'd liked them all, but this binding system is much more comfortable than the others.

Excellent on icy slopes
Excellent grip on icy slopes while simultaneously good flotation in the deeper snow. Easy on and off.
