These are a great back up and useful for overnight trips. I like to take a warm nalgene to bed so sometimes its just easier to melt snow, get the water hot, and purify with the tablets overnight.

Easy and convenient
Always carry these with me when backpacking just in case something happens to my filter. In my opinion they leave no taste and they are very straightforward to use

simply the best
these are chlorine dioxide tablets. chlorine dioxide is the best chemical water treatment available, bar none. it handles everything that can make you sick and doesn't taste like anything. its just a single tablet, no two components, no liquid to spill. it's really the best thing you could carry. 10l of water purification of under an ounce, the best backup in the world. I have these in my 10 essentials and my car always just in case.

Great in a pinch!
These water purification tablets are awesome in a pinch! If you need the water and you're okay with the trail spice (floaties and not clear water), these are absolutely perfect. There's no strong aftertaste and they're awesome for just about everything! Whenever I'm on the trail, I always keep a sleeve of these with me just in case.

Purchased as a backup
Great easy way to purify water. It is a backup in case my other water filters fail (had that one trip, had to boil everything for the weekend). I will also keep some around for emergencies to have access to clean water for who knows what the future holds!
