Nothing is ever the same
I have purchased this hoodie (in many different colors) 7-8 times since 2021. Every year the quality goes down. Now the zippers feel like they belong on doll clothes. At the discounted price it is still worth it. I will never buy one at full price. The fabric is thinner, the stitching is less tight and as I said the zippers are just waiting to break.

Pretty nice hoodie overall
Initial review, well made and comfy jacket. I have slightly longer arms so the thumb holes are too high for me. Not a huge fan of the scuba hood, but got this on sale for a pretty good price.

5th Time Buyer
I've been wearing these for a lot of years. Im about to buy my fourth one. As I write this, I am still wearing the same one I bought originally 10 yrs ago or so and have the others in my rotation still as well.Yes, they are worn, frayed, torn at the elbows, ripped at the wrists but it is still 100% my FAVORITE thing to put on. Length of sleeves:perfect. Hood: Perfect fit. Waist length and size: perfect. Feel: perfect. Fit at shoulders and biceps: perfect. Comfortable as AIR. I am 6'3" 200# slim long athletic build and wear an XL

I won't buy it again
Used to be One of the best hoodies, have two of them previous version. New version with CHEAP zipper and also material is thinner. Quality has degraded from five star to two star, would recommend avoiding it unless getting it a great deal!

Fabric is dull and pilling in places
The website pic looks great, nice sheen or luster. The actual fabric is more dull; and the start of some pilling. I'm wondering if the pic is misleading and or I received a slightly used item.

Slim was body hugging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will buy this product again if they had the regular fit or even the relaxed fit. If this is marketed as a hoodie, there is NO room for anything underneath with the slim. I like the quality of fabric.

Good, with some caveats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this Hoodie. It's so comfy, and strikes the right balance between warm and breathable. Now that negatives. 1) I miss the double zipper on older versions. Unzipping from the bottom made it comfy to sit down in without bunching up 2) The inside fabric of the pockets is possibly the thinnest fabric I've ever seen on a garment - thinner than the fabric anywhere else. I'm not sure why that design decision was made, but it means that the pockets very quickly get holes in them if you put anything hard/with a sharp edge in (e g. Keys, change). This makes the pockets a bit useless for anything other than an old napkin, or some small thin gloves(?) 3) It must be a selling point for someone, because it seems ubiquitous in the line, but I don't understand the thumb holes in the sleeves. The sleeves are extra long to make the thumb holes work better, but when you're not using the thumb holes, it means that you just have extra long sleeves, and the cuffs rub/get wet/get worn out much more quickly than they otherwise would. I've started rolling the cuffs up to avoid this, but I'd much rather buy a product without the thumb holes. I've literally never found occasion to use them, and think they're much more of a negative than a positive on net. If my hands are cold, I'll wear gloves. Overall it is a really great hoodie, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find something better in the merino wool space. Just a few questionable design decisions that hopefully will be amended by the time this one wears out and it's time for a new one!
