Here's what customers have to say

The reviews for this handlebar/seatpost mount are mixed. Many users found it to be a sturdy and versatile mount that worked well for attaching their camera. However, a significant number reported issues such as it not fitting their setup, the camera becoming unstable and falling off due to vibrations, and the mount breaking easily. Some were also disappointed with the quality of the plastic used. Overall, the reviews suggest this mount may work well for some users, but it seems to have reliability and compatibility issues that make it unsuitable for others.

Doesn't fit bike handlebars

I have 2 kids and 1 adult trek bikes. This mount is too small with the rubber insert and too big without it. It was a waste of money.

Handlebar seat post mount

Great clamp, but will not fit even and inch seat post with the smaller rubber insert. It’s advertised to take 1. 4 inch but will not even come close. .

DON'T USE: Broke - cost me my gopro

Used on a road bike handlebar and it broke on a descent. It was a paved road, nothing unusually rough. Gopro broke into pieces from breaking off at speed. Now I'm without a gopro and a handlebar mount.

WASTE OF MEONEY!!!

Purchased this mounting kit to mount to my mountain bike handlebars and realized this handlebar mount was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. What is the point of recording a mountain bike ride if the handlebar mount persistently vibrates and shakes, even on smoother surfaces? Would by no means recommend this product. After market products for handlebar mounts are more reliable, do not shake or vibrate and at a fraction of the cost.

It broke and fell off after just 2 months of daily use.

I cycle 20km to and from work every day. I record my commute with a GoPro in case of a traffic accident. This morning it broke again, the fifth time. I've been using a handlebar mount that GoPro used to sell on other bikes, and it hasn't broken in five years.

it works

I bought this mount for montage at my motorbike. My first idea was, to fix it at the standpipe of the frontwheel. But the place wasn´t possible. So I fixed it at the crash pad of the motorbike frame. The used Gopro Session was added with some adapter, so it should hang down to the street for getting good films when the bike drives curves. The camera suffers from its place, because it could happened that stone chipping damages the camera. So I used successfully an amored glass foil for protection of the GP session. I can't wait to see what great shots were taken on the last long motorcycle tour.

Broke during road ride, camera destroyed

I invested in a Hero 11 in May and got this mount for my road bike. I ride on streets and paved trails. No big bumps. Today, the camera broke from the mount base and crashed to the ground, rendering the camera now useless. Quite a disappointment. Never would've expected a product like this to fail with this kind of use, or in such a short time period.

Too small for MTB

It is to small for modern MTB. I suggest to buy the version for greater tubes.

Not Impressed

I bought this mount to attach the camera to my Ribble road bike seat post and occasionally to my handlebars. It says on the description it will fit from 9 to 35 mm. It does not fit either the seat post or handlebars on my bike, no matter how hard I try. The mount itself seems sturdy and well made, however it just will not fit my bike. I was going to buy the boom + mount at some point too. However I have knocked this idea on the head now after my experience with the mount I bought. Very disappointed.

Good product but...

Good product, but unfortunately I have to give 2 stars for a lack on a spare part. In fact, if you lose the rubber insert, as happened to me, you won't be able to buy it because it isn't sold individually. From the questions asked on the site about this inconvenience, it is clear that this type of request is quite common. It is suggested by the GoPro Team to try looking for it on the internet. Unfortunately I haven't found anything similar on the internet. So I wonder why not make it available as a spare part, solving a problem for customers?
