Twice purchased, twice disappointed
While in theory its a great design, the build quality is poor and inconsistent. On my first iteratuion of this tripod, one of the screws that loosens and tights the articulating arm, locked up and could never be undone again. On my second and most recent purchase, the same screw just turns in endless circles and doesn't tighten at all. Plus the rubber part that locks in the mount does not fit, and the ball joint barely locks into place - the slightest bump and it wobbles around. Completely useless right out of the packaging.

Not realistic as an iPhone tripod
I bought because I wanted to use my Peak Design case/mount with it as an iPhone tripod. . . . its 'ok' but just not stable enough and its easy for it to shake when iPhone is mounted. Its almost like the top arm that connects to the swivel ball needs to be much more rigid. Again, its 'ok' but if there's even a little bit of wind, forget about this keeping the iPhone still.

Not for Underwater
I got this specifically for underwater footage and it the internal joints have rusted so it squeaks really loud when trying to unfold it now. It also seems to really enhance camera shake.

Not happy!
To say the least, I am dissatisfied. I bought this thing last winter. I made two dives and for some reason the middle part cracked. I did not hit it or use it in difficult conditions. Please replace it or I will be disappointed.

Fractured ball socket
The ball socket was fractured making it impossible to fix the camera in one direction. Really disappointed.

Cracked on the ball base
I was very excited to upgrade from my previous 3 way that I used extensively for years but finally started wearing off. I used the 2.0 a couple of times only and the base where the ball is held already craked!! Overall is an ok-ish mount but I wish I could buy the old one.. PROS: the rotary base gives full movement. no need to unscrew the camera to use another mount. a study hand strap. CONS: already broke!!!!! the arms knots are quite hard to adjust. the body feels very light but also very delicate, I would take it for any extreme sport. The original 3-way could detach the tripod base for a ‘shorty’ kind of mount - this one doesn’t

The upper handle (the one that allows to open the three legs) is stuck
It is a great device - I use it underwater - for some reason the upper handle is stuck - I can not twist it. I wash it every time with fresh water after snorkeling. is there something one can do to?

Great Multi-Use Product
The tripod is very stable and the extension as just a camera handle works very well. It is very easy to adjust the camera's position. Folds up very compact to save space.
