Tarmac 26in Luggage delivers rugged, weather-resistant travel with smooth-rolling spinner control

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve taken the 26-inch Tarmac on international trips and road tours—it’s the perfect size. It rolls effortlessly, the tough exterior shrugs off abuse, and the internal compression wings keep everything tight and in place. Built for adventure and built to last."

When we need the space for long-haul adventures without sacrificing mobility, we pack up the Eagle Creek Tarmac 4 Wheeled 26in Luggage. This spinner suitcase is ready to roll over curbs, down cobblestones, and through terminals with ease thanks to its four heavy-duty multi-directional wheels and impact-resistant telescoping handle. With Hypalon-reinforced corners, weather-resistant recycled fabric, and rugged construction, it’s made to handle everything from turbulent tarmacs to rugged terrain.

Inside, adjustable compression wings and zippered mesh pockets keep gear in place and easy to find. Outside, a PU-coated zipper on the top compartment shields essentials from wet weather, while lock-compatible, self-repairing zippers offer peace of mind in transit. Reflective accents provide visibility on late-night arrivals. It’s the bag we trust when the trip’s long, the load’s heavy, and we want zero fuss between point A and B.

Haven't had a chance to

Haven't had a chance to use my luggage. Am thrill you brought back this particular style. Not pleased that it is all hard shell & doesn't have an expandable sipper though. Don't think it will hold up as well as my old one; only time will tell. I did love my previous hard & soft shell.

What happened to 2 sturdy wheels?

This is, in effect, a Dear John letter. I’m sorry, I won’t be purchasing from you since everything functional for a long trip in Europe has been relegated to 2 wheels. They SUCK on cobbles and rough tracks. I go to Greece for a month each year to help with stray cats, and go loaded with meds they need. Plus my clothes and all I need, and at 71 am still lugging my own stuff up long stone steps, down narrow cobbled roads etc. Not just city streets and airports. I’m sorry. I’ve been a customer for at least 15 years and have purchased several pieces (2 sturdy wheel) of carry on and checked luggage size over that time. And I’ve loved them. I still have a tarmac, checked size, over 10 yrs old, that I will use until it falls apart, which won’t be much longer but that thing is a workhorse, has flown all over the world and makes navigating on a Greek island easy. So I bid you farewell. Very sadly.

Durable and sleek

This bag is awesome, the combo of the hardshell back with the soft sided front is the best of both worlds. The material feels durable, the wheels roll so smoothly and it just overall looks sleek. Can't wait to take it on my upcoming trip to southern california.
