Bugaboot III XTM Insulated Boot delivers deep-winter warmth with breathable waterproof performance

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"When temps hit single digits and I still want to get outside, I lace up the Bugaboot III XTM. The 600g insulation is no joke—it keeps me toasty without overheating thanks to the vent ports. It’s bulkier than the standard Bugaboot, but the warmth is worth it."

Snowstorms, slush, and bone-chilling temperatures are no match for the Bugaboot III XTM Insulated Boot. Designed for the deepest winter adventures, this boot is a cold-weather fortress with advanced waterproof protection, superior traction, and insulation that goes the extra mile. A waterproof leather upper and injection-molded shell provide structure and defense, while the Omni-TECH™ membrane ensures your feet stay dry through snowdrifts and sudden downpours.

What sets the XTM apart is its 600g of insulation—enough to handle sub-zero temps with ease—combined with midsole ventilation ports for balanced warmth and airflow. The TECHLITE™ midsole reduces weight and adds responsive cushioning for comfort on the move. Paired with an Omni-GRIP™ outsole, it offers steady footing on slick sidewalks and icy trails. Whether you're navigating the backwoods or clearing the driveway at dawn, the Bugaboot III XTM keeps you warm, dry, and moving.

Toasty Warm - Anatomically Misaligned Structure.

Bought these for a trip to Yellowknife NWT. Boots did an excellent job of keeping my feet warm in sub-artic temperatures. However, they were not good for a bit of hiking. There seems to be an anatomical structure problem with the boots I had to keep stopping as they affected my gait and produced a great amount of hip pain. I switched to my Berghaus boots and the pain was immediately relieved.

Too small. Normally wear a 12 had to return for 13

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too small. Wear a size 12 in every show yet the size 12 was too tight in the toes and the top of the foot. Had to return and go for a size 13. Disappointing.

Great Boots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great boot! Order half a size to a full size up from other Non-Columbia boots the insulation makes them a bit tight. Love them though!

NOT Waterproof

NOT WATERPROOF, Purchased these after my Buagboot II wore out and was severely disappointed to find out they were not waterproof. Feet have been soaked and freezing for several days straight. I don't know if its a defect but pretty useless boots since i got them specifically for snow. Also would agree with others its a little tight fit.
