Customer Images

Here's what customers have to say

The Townes Slide sandals have received mixed reviews. Some customers found them bulky, heavy, and uncomfortable, with issues like blisters and poor fit. However, others described the sandals as comfortable, stylish, and well-made. The overall consensus suggests these are a heavy, stiff option that may not meet the comfort expectations associated with the brand.

Ouch- pinch!

Pinchy and half sizes desperately needed. The straps are extremely stiff and can't be moved to allow more comfort. Darn- cause these are cute

Cute but a bit chunky looking on my feet

The slides are cute but are a bit chunkier looking than I expected. The edges on the different layers on the sole look more pronounced in person that the picture looks. The indent for the Chaco name on the footbed is a bit irritating on the bottom of my foot; I'm hoping as I wear them more, it will soften.

Townes slides

I like the shoes. The left one is super comfortable! The right one rubs my toe and causes a blister. My friend got the same pair and her right one is great and the left one rubs her toe and gives her a blister.

They make a small foot look huge!

Bought this and another pair with the "lip" on them. They are horrible as, if your foot actually fit within the lip then it makes your foot look huge. I have small, wide feet anyway so the shoes look like boats on my feet. My husband doesn'tusually comment on my shoes but these he he objected to rather strenuously. Returned this pair because my toes didn't fit within the lip and should have returned the other one also.

Great Birkenstock dupe idea, poor execution

I really loved the look of these shoes (stoked bc they looked kind of like Birks but with more support!) and read some reviews before adding to my cart, but unfortunately after wearing them a handful of times I think I’m gonna have to send them back. The little elastic piece where the strap meets the midsole pinches on the inside of both my feet with every step, which resulted in matching open blisters after walking only a half mile. It also feels like the strap system is far too tight to the midsole, and even though I have a very low volume foot, and my toes end up sliding back from the front constantly. I was hoping that would go away with breaking them in more, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get around the elastic-blistering situation.

Run big?

They look so cute on line. I think they may run big. I felt like I was wearing snow shoes. My other chacos are great

Bulky shoes - not what I was looking for

I will preface by saying that I had never owned Chacos before, so I didn’t have any baseline. But I didn’t realize these slides were so thick and bulky. I’m sure they would be comfortable with the thick soles, but it just looked too bulky for my taste. Great color though!

Worst blisters and horrible for walking

Horrible blisters from just a short trial walk. Bad design that wouldn’t stay on my feet and yet somehow also ripped off my skin

Poorly designed, impractical for everyday wear

I’ve had these for a year and finally threw them away. They are too heavy and the straps cut into my feet and leave blisters every time I wear them. So tragic because they are truly so cute.

I like them, but some room to improve

I love these! I wear them all the time (or would if I could run in them, haha) I bought size and wear 9.5 nomally, and I had to set the straps to their largest setting, so 10's may have been better, but they do seem to be stretching out a but as they are leather and I might bring them in a notch and be fine. They do bleed their dye onto my foot too, but I don't mind that too much. Just won't wear socks with them or they will be ruined.
