Disappointed
Shoe might be great if I could just manipulate the buckle closing. As it is, these are going back and I will wait to order anything else until Chace deigns to use velcro closings

Beautiful and Comfortable with Support
I bought these in black earlier in the summer. I love the way they fit. The arch isn't as high as in the rubber soled sandals but they still have been great for walking distances on city streets. The leather does stretch, though. I have already added more holes to the straps.

Awesome shoes, but I don’t trust construction
I had these shoes for a year and a couple of days, and the strap broke from under the sole in a place where it was clearly a design/construction/material issue. I had not worn them a ton in that time frame, the shoes still looked fairly new. Because I had them for over a year, I was outside of warranty which was frustrating. Chaco offers no solution to repair the shoes. Pictures attached. I love these shoes but will be sticking with the more standard Chaco sandals in the future and not by buying leather from them.

Good material. Poor design.
Good materials, poor design Unlike previous footwear I have purchased and loved, these have a strap on the outer side of the sandal that presses into my foot and is painful. The difference with this strap compared to other designs is that this strap folds around a buckle causing a thick area. Previous designs were flatter because they were individually attached.

Comfortable, stylish, durable gift!
I got these for my partner for her birthday. They fit true to size (they might look a bit big at first but any smaller and your toes would hang over the front). She said the soles were the most comfortable she had ever felt. They look exactly how they look online and they feel high quality out of the box!
