We ride the Cervélo Áspero Rival XPLR AXS when the route demands both speed and adaptability. Its carbon frame and fork equipped with a Trail Mixer chip let us swap between 700c and 650b setups while keeping steering balanced. Internal cable routing, dual bottle mounts, and frame protection keep it sleek yet tough, and T47 bottom bracket paired with lowered seatstays adds ride comfort miles down the trail. Rolling on Reserve 40/44 wheels wrapped in WTB Vulpine 700×45 mm tires, it handles fast roads and choppy gravel with composure.

The SRAM Rival AXS 1×13 wireless drivetrain with a 40T crank and a wide‑range 10–46T cassette gives us simplicity and confidence across varied grades, and Rival hydraulic disc brakes deliver familiar, durable stopping power.
