Hot weather cycling cap….
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I live in SWFL and it is hot, humid and sunny. I am pretty much bald and needed a cap to wear to keep sun off my head while wearing my helmet which is a Giro Aires Spherical. A guy on a ride in France told me about this cap, he was wearing one. So I bought 2 and wore them in varying conditions. 102° on the road yesterday and the cap was perfect—wicked sweat—no sunburn—still comfortable in extreme heat and humidity. A WINNER in my mind. It was a bit big to keep the brim flipped up so I did a little sewing hack to tightened up the head band—PRESTO! Perfecto!!

Nice materials but very oddly shaped.

Nice material and craftsmanship. But the hat bill is ridiculously big. It is like a baseball cap. The Specialized caps are much better. Buy this cap if you want a very weirdly shaped bill that will block most of your vision once you put a helmet on.

Just enough visor & good breathability
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I wear this under my helmet when I need to keep the sun out of my eyes, and to keep sweat out of my eyes. I’ve tried other brands of cycling caps that aren’t this breathable, or that have a longer or more steeply angled bill, which gets in the way. These come in cool colors, too.
