Here's what customers have to say
The Ghost Max 2 shoes are generally well-received, with many customers praising the high level of comfort and cushioning. Reviewers describe the shoes as feeling like "walking on clouds" and providing excellent support and stability, particularly for those who are on their feet frequently. The shoes are noted for their good cushioning and rocker-like sole, making them suitable for walking, standing, and light running. However, some customers experienced issues with the fit, finding the toe box too narrow or the shoes running small compared to previous models. Overall, the majority of reviewers are satisfied with the shoes and recommend them for everyday wear and light activity.

Miss original design
Loved my original Ghost Max. These Max 2’s are more stiff, left & right don’t feel equally comparable (left hurts under toes & ball of foot), and both seems overall shorter (toes hit end of shoe).

Not my favorite looking sneaker but definitely my new favorite sneaker. I can't believe how comfortable and perfect these feel with every step.

Not a true WIDE shoe
These are not a true WIDE shoe and fit more like a REGULAR size. I purchased based on the fact that they would be a comp to Hoka Bondi 8s and they are not. Toe box is not near as wide and they also caused sore hips. I guess I have to pay the price and stick with Hoka. I really wanted these to work

I have owned and loved all of my Brooks Ghost and Glycerin shoes. Unfortunately this last purchase has been disappointing. I work and healthcare and for the most part I am up on my feet. My foot started hurting on its sides. None of my previous ones did.

Very comfortable shoe for walking.
Good follow up to original Ghost Max. Fit is just right! Lots of cushion for comfort on my five to seven mile walks. I am a satisfied customer!

Will Buy Again
These are the best shoes for me. I've tried other shoes and nothing compares. They're great with outdoor and treadmill running

My feet fall inward when I walk with these . I added special insoles and they feel a lot better now. I’m able to walk a couple of miles without my feet hurting. I’ll keep them since I did get them on sale at a good price but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Perfect
Cushion is great . I don’t feel as much pain when at work. I’m on a mission to find the right shoe for me, something with cushion and support. This was my 1st pair of Brooks. Just received my second pair. The journey begins!!

Quality Control is awful and shoes fit differently
I'm torn about this shoe. I have one pair in the coconut color. There is a bit of collapsing near the toe in the fabric—Brooks sent me another pair which looked better, but still had the same issue. I kept them, though, because my podiatrist recommended them for recovery from bunion surgery and for knee pain. Part of the challenge is the sizing. It's weird. I'm a size 7 and had to go up to an 8.5. I wore the coconut pair on a 3-week trip to Europe with no issues, and was making good progress on my physical therapy and able to balance on my surgery foot. So I ordered another pair in the gray color. After I got back from Europe, I switched to this newer pair to avoid wearing out the other ones. Totally different situation. My foot slipped around and the insole pushed my foot to the outside of my foot, causing underpronation and wearing down on the outside of the shoe. I was wondering why I could no longer balance on my foot and why my gait seemed off, until I finally pulled out the insole and compared it to my other pair. It was much higher and the shoe was wider. Really disappointing considering it set me back on my recovery. I guess I like this shoe—when it fits right—but the quality control isn't there. I wish the 8 fit properly because I think the 8.5 is slightly too long, and the insole quality control is also bad. I wish Brooks would make more shoes with a 6mm drop. It helps those with knee problems, but having only one option with these manufacturing issues stinks.
