Came off on first hike
When they were attached they were great. Went out on first hike with them and the hike had some muddy spots. When using the poles through the muddy areas had no issues pulling the poles in and out of the mud as it wasn’t even 2” deep but then noticed just after the mud section that the little suction the mud must have had pulled the covers right off. Didn’t feel any extra force or anything during that section and yes before we started the hike confirmed that they were screwed on tightly. Great concept but poor execution. If you are on a hike that is all rock with no sections of mud to traverse through then these would likely work out fine.

Pretty good so far
I put them on my Black Diamond carbon running poles. They don’t fit as tightly as on my carbon z poles. Hope they stay on. So far so good.

Trekking pole tips
While in Brooklyn, walking to a subway stop, my pole found the hole in a manhole cover! As I pulled on it the tip was taken off. On it’s way to the Hudson River, I suspect. .

Stop the slide
I purchased rubber tips for for Black Diamond trekking poles to keep me From sliding on smooth indoor surfaces. I used my trekking poles outdoors on hikes always but a recent illness has affected my mobility and now I use my poles indoors for stability. I needed the rubber tips to keep the poles steady. It works. Ordering the tips on line was smooth and the tips got to me in good order. They fit my trekking poles perfectly and they have added the stability that I need.

Pole Tip Protectors
These pole tip protectors seem to work well on hard surfaces. I have not yet used them on soft surfaces.

Fine product!
I've used these over many years. They are the right component for the job. Quiet on hard surfaces, and soft enough that they don't slip.

These WILL fall off
These tip protectors are to loose on the pole. Both fell off while hiking several times. I had to wrap tape on the tip of the pole then put these back on over the tape. Solved the issue but not something I should have had to do. You were warned.
