Here's what customers have to say
The product received mixed reviews. Many found the shoes to be comfortable, well-performing, and good value, but some noted they run small and recommended sizing up. Positive feedback included the sticky rubber, edging ability, and heel/toe hooking. However, some reported issues with build quality, such as ripping velcro straps and delaminating rubber. A few also found the shoes painful or uncomfortable, especially initially. Overall, the shoes seem to be a solid intermediate option, but sizing and long-term durability may be concerns for some users.

Good shoe for price
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 44.5
I have had these shoes for the last four years, they are now starting to explode from the constant use. I’ve used these shoes in almost every possible situation and discipline (including the ones they are not specifically designed for), sport, multi-pitch trad, bouldering and in the gym. They have never disappointed me. Although it can be a snug fit that often left my toes a little swollen after long sessions I owes felt very confident wearing these shoes. They break in well. Definitely not the greatest shoe money can buy but an awesome pick for the price point. They have served me well and I’m sad to see them go. The toe section of the rubber has been the failing point thus far after extensive use. All things considered this really is a good shoe.

These shoes have potential
I really wanted to love these shoes. The build quality and materials are great. However, the design of the shoe leaves room to be desired. I typically would wear a size US 10, so I got one size larger based on other reviewers (US 10. 5). I was able to wear them with a moderate level of toe curl; which is expected since they're a high performance shoe. While climbing with them, they were extremely painful the first few sessions. The shoes left my toes entirely bruised and blistered. I am going to continue using the shoes to see if they improve over time. I feel these shoes could have benefited greatly from having more three dimensional toe box to accommodate for toe curl, wider asymmetric toe box and more consistent sizing.

A great intermediate shoe!
So nice out of the box, I got a second pair. Methods are my goto shoes for getting my training in. Snug like a sock, sticky enough for me to be bold.

Comfort and good performance
I bought these to give me a more aggressive shoe for gym climbing/training, since I climb outside in high tops (Aspect Pros for hard climbs; Evolv Generals for long cruiser days). Bought an 8.5- same as my Aspect and Aspect Pro shoes. The fit is definitely more tight and aggressive, but I don’t notice any discomfort when I have them on while climbing. They hurt while walking (what aggressive shoes don’t, though?), and if I climbed a hard sport multi, I would definitely want them off at belays. The rubber is plenty sticky, and has just the right balance of sensitivity and support. Only knock is that I wish the forefoot strap was a bit longer, but with the design and added rubber for toe hooking, it’s just not doable.

Good shoe of inconsistent size
I have a wide foot and usually buy US10 or US9.5 street shoes. When buying BD Momentum shoes I go with US11.5 for a very tight fit, but after some time they stretch enough to allow me to wear on a day long multi-pitch climb. I bought Method Climbing Shoes in US12 size after trying them in a shoe demo, however they never stretched enough to be comfortable for a longer periods of time. Other than the size misadventures, those are great shoes and I will get US 12.5

Amazing
It takes about 2 weeks to break the shoes in and then you get the full experience. After the 2 week small foot holds on an incline feel like second nature.

Poor quality

The shoes feel fine, but they are constructed very poorly. After only a few months of moderate use the velcro doesnt stay shut, one of velcro straps ripped slightly, and the rubber is coming apart in several places.

Great Shoe but could be better!
I know that most people like there toes curled but my 3rd, 4th and 5th toes are a little bit longer and I don't want to destroy my toes if it is not necessary, I am a Roman profile , I purchased UK 11, I am street shoe size 11 us, and i think that if i would have purchased maybe a UK11.5 could fit better with my feet/toe profile or even a 12UK. The heel is molded like if they took my 3d printed heel it is great, the shoe is really stiff great for small holds but could present a little bit of challenge whit smearing not much of an issue anyways. So the most important thing for people unless you love to crush your feet in my case as I stated i am 11 US and purchased 12 US but i think that a 13 US would feet just great snug but without pain or hot spot on my 3rd or 2nd toe, I noticed that it is ok to feel discomfort but by no means any kind of pain for my taste I need to be comfortable to climb at my max effort and not restrain because of unnecessary pain (note: I WOULD GO FROM MY STREET SHOE SIZE 11 ALL THE WAY UP TO 12.5 OR 13 BECAUSE OF MY ROMAN PROFILE, IF YOU DONT HAVE A ROMAN OR GREEK PROFILE I WOULD THINK THAT THEY JUST FIT GREAT ONLY 1 PLUS SIZE FROM YOUR STREET SHOE SIZE) basically the 11 US is a 10 US) My foot measures 28mm and the shoe as US11 is 27mm I would love this shoe to have only one strap instead of 2 I found the second one to be useless and with the first one doesn't matter how you fit it it will always look baggy in my feet.

I am wearing the shoes
I am wearing the shoes around the house, they are breaking in. I got a half size larger than my shoe size! Can’t wait to try them at the climbing gym.

Bizarre fit
I really like a lot about these, but the fit was bizarre. Maybe not for narrow feet? With the straps on pretty snug, I could literally pull them off my feet. In order to get them tight enough so I couldn’t pull them off, I had to strap them down so tight the buckle left imprints in my skin and was painful. I returned them. Bummed tho, they seemed really nice- rubber seemed sticky and construction seemed high quality.
