Duos Freebird Adjustable Ski Poles
The Black Crows Duos Freebird Adjustable Ski Poles provide the versatile performance that backcountry skiers need. Some skiers prefer shorter and longer lengths for the skin up and ski down, and this ski provides whatever length you want with a secure locking switch. Black Crows built this pole out of aluminum for rigid durability and an aggressive performance. The grip extends down the pole so you can choke down during tight, steep switch backs. The basket works well for powder, the sharp tip pokes through firmer snow, and this pole performs regardless of the snow conditions.

Exceptionally low quality
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I purchased these poles a couple of months ago. After a handful of uses, the carbon shaft of one of the poles completely snapped while going uphill. I wasn't doing anything extraordinary, just lightly poling the snow. I've never crashed with the poles. Black crows told me that that the carbon part is not covered in the warranty and told me to purchase a replacement part. The motto for this item on their website says "do not use for barbecue", but I think that is probably the only thing these ski pole appropriate for. I would highly not recommend not purchasing these fragile, overpriced poles.
