Great sandals, run large

You get what you pay for

I just tried on the Birkenstock Arizona sandals, even though I rarely buy expensive footware, much less sandals. But they are clearly a cut above any I have ever worn. The fit and comfort are worth the $$. The size is true and the adjustable straps make them feel like they were custom made for me. About 50 years ago I bought a pair of dress brogues from LL Bean and after 4 or 5 sets of soles and heels, I still wear them as work shoes. So sometime you do get what you pay for. That seems to be true of most LL Bean products.

Amazing sandals

My husband LOVES these sandals. He has a hard time finding ones that will be comfortable enough for him. Now he’s happy!!

After seeing my partner love his Birkenstocks I decided to finally buy a pair. They are so comfortable that I think they’re worth the price. Use the size chart! They fit perfectly for a D width foot. I love the gentle cushioning and the added arch support. I loved it so much that it has raised my standards for footwear. I am not joking, I grew up on Payless and target sandals and I’m never going back!

Perfect fit

Perfect fit. The sandal size is true to the shoe size. This was my first pair of these highly sought after sandals and I am pleased with the comfort and quality of craftsmanship.

After wearing these for a year, I can confidently say that Briks have been a part of my foot health journey. The fit has only become more and more comfortable with time; the arch support is everything and I'm glad to have these as a part of my every day. Birkenstock Sandals Comfort

Have never had Birkenstock sandals before. But I tend to wear them every day. They are great on bare feet, or with socks. I may have gotten one half size too large, but with sandals, it is not as important. And a whole size lower may have been too much.

My Birkenstocks suffer from Achilles' Heel

The Arizona Leather Birks (size 44) were just exactly what I expected. I just wish they were not so expensive, but quality is rarely inexpensive. Since I lead with my heel when walking, in 6 months the cork is showing. A local cobbler used to half-resole my birks for $60.00 but would always warn against wearing them when the cork appeared in the heels. The present cobbler charges over $100.00 for a full new sole (and some cork repair). The German Birk-makers would do me a great favor if they would find a way to toughen the heel portion of the sole.
