Why We Like The Telos TR3 Plus Tent
The Telos TR3 Plus Tent makes camping through the shoulder seasons more manageable when we’re backpacking until the very first snowfall. This tent boasts all of the waterproof and set-up friendly features we’ve come to expect from Sea To Summit, plus it can be set up in six different configurations. Our favorite is the Hangout Mode, which converts the tent into a semi-open setup for laidback vibes at the group site.

Love this tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tent, very well made and easy to set up. Plenty of height, I am 5’9” and there is plenty of headspace and it is great length wise. May be a bit tight when my husband comes along next time (he is a large guy!) Can’t wait for future trips using it!

Two person set up is
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two person set up is easy and quick. 1 person a little trickier, but I got the tent for 2 person camping anyways. One night was 17 and it stayed warm enough to keep the water unfrozen. We had condensation that night. Next night we opened all 3 vents and had no condensation, a little colder but our water was slushy, not frozen solid. Overall I’m very pleased. They did send me the wrong sized foot print, but that’s not really a quality issue. Overall I like it.

Strong, but small and hard to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] its a great tent but it just barely fits too standard sleeping pads inside. Also compared to other two man tents it can take a while to set up.

Spacious, warm and great ventilation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packing system; it is easy to share with someone or only bring the necessary. The tent has Excellent Ventilation and is lightweight. So far, it seems great quality, but I haven't been through a giant storm yet. It's spacious for a two-person tent and very warm.

Telos Plus Tent Review: Lightweight with a Flaw
I had the opportunity to use the Telos Plus Freestanding Ultralight Tent over President's Weekend in Colorado at an elevation of 12,000 feet with plenty of snow. It even snowed about 3 inches during the trip. On the positive side, the tent's lightweight design impressed me, as did the innovative multiple-stuff sacks, making it highly portable and organized. Its ease of setup was notable, and it successfully kept me dry inside with almost no condensation, a commendable feat under the snowy conditions. However, my experience wasn't without its drawbacks. Disappointingly, during my first use, I discovered a hole in the tent's floor. Given that I was on snow, I don't believe I caused the cut. This issue likely points to the material's extreme thinness, which, while understandable in the pursuit of minimizing weight, should not come at the expense of basic durability, such as maintaining an intact tent floor. Having lived in Colorado and Utah my entire life, engaging in activities like hunting and mountaineering across all seasons, this is the first time I've encountered a tent floor cutting open. This incident marks a significant concern regarding the material's durability and the tent's overall reliability in rugged conditions.

Excellent tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to substitute my 25 years old TNF VE-25, and already owning a Telos TR1 and knowing the quality of the product, I made the decision to purchase m y new family tent. While in Patagonia the TR1 stood still in very high winds. With the TR3 I only had the chance to go through a storm where it poured 150mm of rain in one night. Not a single drop of water entered inside the tent. Awesome product, very well though and designed.

Fantastic tent
Extremely well made tent. Very easy to set up, several innovative features (light bar, stuff sacks are extra storage, gear loft is a must). The Plus is much beefier than the regular and is far better suited for slightly colder/winder environments. Even though the tub is extra durable, the footprint is also a must.

Good for tall hiker's
Most tent in the market too short for me. Tr3 is enough for me and my sleeping bag is not contact with tent. But i hate fairshare system. Bags too small for comfort place wet tent and poles. And i want additional mesh tent but its not sold separately(
