New fav

My favorite fit in a long time. I lived in these pants on a recent trip to Thailand. I have curvy thighs, and these pants were flattering and felt great.

Great Material but Tight Around the Hips

The quick-dry material is excellent, and the XS size fits perfectly at the waist. However, the design makes it a bit difficult to pull on over the hips, even with the elastic waistband. Those with wider hips might find this an issue, so keep that in mind when choosing your size.

Fit perfectly!

I’m 5’2” with an athletic build, and it’s hard to find pants that aren’t too long and that fit my hips, butt, thighs, and waist! And these fit perfectly, they’re not too tight around my thighs, miracle! Andddd they’re durable!

Favorite pair

I already had these in Dark Citron and loved them, they are comfortable and perfect for hiking and the color is very nice. When I saw the black ones on sale I bought 2 extra pairs. I usually wear M and have bought these in S.

Great breathable hiking pants

Wow these pants have mixed reviews. The pants may not work for everyone's body type, but I personally think they are great. I wouldn't describe the fabric as soft, but it's not like it's so rough that it's uncomfortable. The fabric is actually not stretchy at all and is extremely durable as a result. That makes them great for hiking as I do not need to worry about the pants snagging on anything. I've worn these pants quite a bit and I can say the fabric is very breathable (because the wind cuts right through them lol) so they work for warmer weather without needing to be super thin. They also dry very fast and are quite comfortable even when wet! The belt and zippered pockets are great features as well. I'm 5'3", straight-figured, and normally an XS/S. I got these in an XS and that was definitely the right move. The pants stretch out to a more baggier fit with wear, but I think the baggier fit is great. It's not constricting.

Swishy but solid

I bought these for a light-weight pants for climbing. They move well and I don't have any restrictions and I like that the pockets have zippers. I was hoping either the back pocket or front pocket would be big enough for me to stash my phone but unfortunately that's not the case. The back pocket is too small and the front pocket doesn't go down my thigh enough. So when I flex my hip my phone basically jams into my thigh. Besides that, I'm excited to try these out on real rock because I think they will probably hold up to abrasions and outdoor conditions. I don't love the swishy sounds the fabric makes (reminds me of fabric from the 90's) but they do the job!

Crinkly and stiff

Did not care for these. They are crinkly and loud if that makes sense. Maybe when washed they would be better.

Fabric is rough but good summer pants otherwise

The material is rough on the skin for some reason and also picks up lint easily; on black, it shows up easily. They have a baggy fit on me but I possibly just need to size down a notch. They would pair well with a sports bra, tank, or fitted top. The belt is technical-looking and functions as it should (you have to push outward from the center buckle). The 2 side pockets and 1 back pocket are all zippered, which is super. Overall, it appears very well constructed; the main problem was the fabric material choice. Oh, but a bonus feature about this fabric is that it is surprisingly airy and cooling. These are very much summer pants I would feel comfortable wearing outside in 80+ degree weather. If I end up keeping these, I will look forward to using them to avoid getting mosquito bites on my legs.

Great bouldering pants

Another MHW item that I loved so much I ordered it in a second color! I'm 5'2, 150 lbs, and tend to between a medium and large in MHW stuff. I got the larges both times because I like a baggier/high waisted fit, and I don't have any trouble with range of motion or getting them over my butt. I think I would if I got mediums though. I do have to roll them up once or twice, but such is life when you're 5'2 so I don't mind. I love these pants for climbing, trail work, and hiking because they don't fall down due to the belt and all the pockets are HUGE and ZIPPERED! A rarity in women's pants! Sad to see these be discontinued because they're my favorite bouldering pants.
