Convienient and easy to pack

This product is extremely easy to use and store. Is convenient when staying in locations for several days or with multiple people. I take it on pack trips and it saves a lot of time not having to refill water.

Excellent for camp

My wife and I used this for backpacking trip to have water at camp. We filled it up from a spring and never worried about a thing. Worked great to have at camp so we didn’t have to lug water back and forth.

The Quick-Attachment for the Hose is a Huge Improvement.

I have been using a Katadyn Gravity Filter for over a decade. It was light weight for flying to remote field camps, easy to fill and had a good enough flow rate to keep us in water for 8-10 days without any issues. With the old system, the hose was difficult to attach and water would run down your arm while you put the hose on. Their new system solved that problem. Katadyn even has a conversion kit to upgrade your old system. The new filter is smaller also.

The best water filter for a big group of family. We had plenty of water ready anytime for cooking and cleaning. The water was clean and well filtered. We usually hung it from a tree, but we could carry it on a backpack when needed. We had a group of 6 people and could easily make an entire meal and clean up afterwards with one fill up. The filtration works with gravity, so you need a way to secure the hose up when not in use. Little kids tend to just leave it hanging, so train accordingly.

Easy water

Love gravity bags. Being able to easily get water with little effort is huge in the back county, especially when your setting up camp late. No more hovering over a stream or body of water pumping while you could be doing other tasks. It's incredibly easy to use, especially if there is running water, the bag pretty much fills itself. Close the bag, attach the hose, hang it and your done. Very light weight, very easy to use and holds a large amount of water. I won't be going on a single trip without it.

Great item

Great item to have especially with a close by water source. It's easy to transport the water bag while it's filled. You can carry by hand or attach to your frame/pack. Packs down very small. Fills a Nalgene or pack bladder very quickly. Easiest to use if you can hang it up somewhere high but you can also always cut the tubing to be a bit more short

This filter is incredibly light and fast. Couldn’t ask for a better piece of gear for a group of 4+ people.

it works. easy to fill and operate. a little slow, but a little forced downtime while I wait for water isn't so bad.

The Katadyn BeFree 10L has been used many times on my adventures. It has worked well and without problems. It's heavy construction gives peace of mind while on the trail or off making your own.
