Good Bladder

Familiarity:: I've used it several times
Size Bought:: 2 Liter

This reservoir is well designed, lightweight and very functional. It replaces a 10 year old 2-liter Hydrapak reservoir that developed a couple annoying pinholes. It is easy to fill, clean and use. The new bite valve design is great, easier drinking. I'd buy it again.

Revolutionary

We are full-time cross-country hiking guides in Utah canyon country. To keep reducing our pack weight, we have— for decades—continually experimented with new gear. Many products fail to fully deliver on their manufacturers’ promises, or have disadvantages that outweigh their benefits. Precious few products would we call “revolutionary,” but HydraPak’s Velocity 2L definitely is. Everything about it—not just its gossamer weight—is notably superior to any hydration system currently available. We now carry them in our packs daily, and we recommend them to our clients.
